A collective study on waves; including a mediation & poetry workshop & video collage screening with live synth scores throughout the evening
About this Event

waves; a study in light, sound & movement

In tradition with fluxus movement happenings 25 creatives will come together for an
evening of community and curiosity. Each creatives’ contribution will be in response to the
evening’s title waves; a study in light, sound & movement.

The first half of the evening 7-8pm will consist of a 20 minute breathwork & mediation session, followed by a movement and chance based poetry workshop. A live synth score by v10101a will accompany the poetry portion of the workshop.

The second half of the night 8:30-9:30pm will be the screening of a silent video collage consisting of 20x3min videos. The visual elements will be from 20 video artists movement artists. A collaborative synth score by sound artists ximena bedoya, Buffy, Laenz, and riley wong will be performed live at Houseparty in response to the video collage and the evening’s collective study.

9:30-10pm, following the screening there will be a 30 min Q/A between the synth performers & select video contributors.
