Watts Up, East Marsh? is a free, drop-in community event led by Grimsby Community Energy, designed to support households on Grimsby’s East Marsh with practical help around energy use, bills, and keeping homes warm and healthy. The event will bring together local organisations, advice services and community groups who can offer trusted guidance, signposting, and, where available, access to additional support or grant schemes. Residents will be able to speak to multiple organisations in one place, making it easier to get the right help without needing multiple appointments.
Grimsby Community Energy will lead the event, offering free, impartial energy advice, information on saving money at home, and support around solar energy and future community projects in the area. The focus will be on practical, everyday actions that can make a real difference to household bills and comfort.
The event is informal and welcoming, with no appointments needed. Residents can drop in at any time, ask questions, collect useful materials, and have a conversation at their own pace. Refreshments will be available, helping to create a relaxed and friendly environment where people feel comfortable seeking support.
Everyone is welcome.
