Featuring live music and free raffles, this walk/run jigs and jogs past historic homes including the famous Octagon House. The event begins and ends by Watertown's newly remodeled public library and Bentzin Family Town Square. Also includes a .5K Little Leprechaun Run for kids ten and under. Come join over 500 walkers and runners celebrate spring and being Irish, if only for a day! After the event, participants are invited to walk over to Lyon's Pub for traditional Irish food and beverages.
All proceeds for this non-profit event support teachers and classrooms in both public and private schools. Last year the event raised over $17,500.00 which in turn helped enable the Educational Foundation of Watertown distribute over $50,000.00 to local schools!
