About this Event
Join AMSEAS, Metoac Indigenous Collective, And Citizens Campaign for the Environment to learn about the Long Island Sound ecosystem, marine wildlife, and indigenous cultural knowledge as we remove harmful marine debris from the beach!
Join us for a beach walk/clean-up at Hallock State Park Preserve from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM. Clean-up supplies will be provided, but it is recommended that you bring your own gloves. We will meet at the upper parking lot by the AMSEAS trailer - come check out our educational display!
Registration is required so that we may contact you if we need to cancel the event due to the weather. Parking fees will be waived for all registered participants.
This project was made possible through funding from the Long Island Sound Community Impact Fund. Special thanks also to the Long Island Sound Partnership and Restore America's Estuaries.
