As if April 1, 2025 Grand River Hospital and St. Marys General Hospital have merged and are now WRHN!
Building on over 90 years of partnership, this merger represents a continued commitment to enhancing the health-care experience through combined resources, expertise, and continued work towards including the new state-of-the-art Hospital at the University of Waterloo’s North Campus.
This event is designed to prepare you for success as you embark on your hands-on healthcare experience.
During this event you can expect:
- Introduction to Hospital Policies & Procedures: Understand the hospital’s protocols, including professionalism, safety regulations, confidentiality and infection control procedures.
- Interactive Workshops: Participate in training sessions on essential clinical skills, and learn about the tools and resources available to support your growth and success.
- Networking & Peer Connections: Meet your fellow clinical students and share experiences with others who are also navigating their placements in healthcare.
