About this Event
Join us for this FREE workshop for adults 18 and over. We will be going through our giant book of waterfowl ID and going over how to identify all the ducks you are likely to see in Illinois one by one.
We will be at Big Marsh Park in Chicago and if weather permits, will meet right out on the marsh giving us a chance to also ID any birds together that we may see. October 23rd, a Wednesday evening, should offer some great viewing if weather cooperates.
We will also be preparing a dish or two using wild harvested duck for folks to sample if you wish!
If you are a hunter, birder or just someone who appreciates the diversity of the marsh, this workshop is for you!

Participants are encouraged to show up at 4:30 ish to look around for birds before we get going at 5 PM. Please bring your own binos if you have them and dress comfortably to be outside. We will bring some optics to share.
