Watercolour Confidence - From Basics to Brilliance

Ready to elevate your watercolor skills? Join me for a 3-hour hands-on workshop where you'll learn to apply your newfound knowledge and skills to your own creative projects. I will give you personalized guidance, tailored feedback, and troubleshooting tips so that you'll gain the confidence to tackle any watercolor challenge.
Who this is for:
This is ONLY for students who have completed the Watercolour Painting Demystified 4-Day or 8-Day Workshops.
Learning Objectives:
Practise and revise basic watercolour techniques
Practise systematically and creatively applying these techniques on your chosen subjects.
Learn to sequence and use different approaches to paint your projects.
Deconstruct, construct, critique and troubleshoot to progress independently
Course Materials:
All materials used during classes will be provided. This includes but is not limited to:
Student and Artist grade cellulose and cotton papers
Artist grade watercolour paints
Artist grade gouache paints
Miscellaneous mixed media
Synthetic, Sable and Squirrel round and flat brushes
Porcelain/Stoneware palettes
Rag cloths and paper towels
Drawing/Clip boards
Water containers
Pencil, pen, masking tape
Class Size & Instruction Method
I keep class sizes at 5 persons max so that I can attend to each student with personalised feedback. In class, we use a wide variety of watercolour materials to better understand how they impact our work and learn how to choose and adapt to them. I demo live during class, explaining and reiterating key instructions and tips. I will teach you how to identify mistakes so you can pre-empt, avoid, fix or repeat them to get the effects you want. Most importantly, you will learn how apply your new skills by deconstructing and/or sequencing the steps to paint the projects you wish to attempt.
Fees: $150 per person for 3 hours
