Watercolour Christmas Cards Workshop – We are very excited to announce a second afternoon workshop, as this lovely Christmas workshop with tutor Caroline Lawrence from Rock ‘n Wool Creations has been so popular and has sold out!This gorgeous workshop will get you in the festive spirit. Together we will create some fun and festive watercolour Christmas Cards. This workshop is ideal for beginners or those fairly new to watercolours, who are looking for new ideas or to gain confidence in using watercolours for a purpose. Caroline will walk you through how to create each card and explain the techniques used in doing so. Making for Christmas is a great excuse to enjoy and practise your watercolour skills. Maybe you will make all of your own Christmas cards this year?
Using watercolours and waterproof fine liners, you will create a set of Watercolour Christmas cards and learn the techniques to create lots more at home, to send to all your friends and family for that ultra special personal touch.
Amongst other designs, you will learn to paint festive trees, a Christmas wreath and sparkling baubles.
Caroline will look at watercolour techniques to create different effects and you will learn about brush strokes, and how to mix and adjust your colours. Caroline will bring lots of resources and ideas to inspire you. No experience necessary. Don’t worry if you aren’t great at drawing or feel particularly creative. She will break it down step by step and find a way to make it accessible and doable for all.
Tuition, all resources, including cards and adhesive, and tea, coffee and mince pies are included.
Caroline teaches a number of different creative workshops and classes in various mediums, including watercolour and ink, lino printing, needle felting, lampshade making, candle and paper making. Watch out for more of her workshops and classes at Southern Maltings!

The workshop is being run with a maximum capacity of 12 and will run from 1.30pm – 4.30pm on Monday 18th November.
The session will be held in our downstairs function space.
This 3 hr Watercolour Christmas Card Workshop is costed at £30.
