About this Event
Watercolor for Beginners (Supplies Included) with Yahya
Beginner-friendly one-session workshop that can turn into a flexible series
A relaxed, beginner-friendly watercolor class designed to be calming, clear, and actually successful on your first try. We’ll learn the essentials—how to control water (the real boss of watercolor), mix clean colors, and build a simple painting step-by-step.
Supplies are included — watercolor paper, paints, brushes, and everything you need is provided. Just show up.
You’ll learn
- The 3 watercolor “moves”: wash, drop-in, lift
- How to avoid muddy color (and fix it if it happens)
- Light/mid/dark values without overthinking
- Easy brush techniques for texture (clouds, leaves, shadows)
What you’ll paint
You’ll complete 1 finished mini painting plus 2 quick practice studies. At the start, choose your track: botanical postcard, simple landscape, or abstract color flow.
Want to make it a series (without locking into a rigid schedule)?
This class can continue as a Beginner Watercolor Series where you build skills week by week. The series is flexible: you can book sessions that match your unique schedule and still progress through the same Level 1 path with Yahya.
Perfect for
Total beginners, “I can’t draw” people, and anyone who wants a low-pressure intro that feels fun and doable.
Duration
2 hours
