Watercolor for Adults: Intermediate with Tracey Marshall Ages 16+
Session 4: March 17th-May 12th (No class March 31st)

This watercolor class is designed for students who already have a foundational understanding of watercolor techniques and are ready to deepen their practice. We will begin with a brief review of techniques introduced in the first session, including brush control, layering, color mixing, and managing water. From there, we’ll build on those skills by focusing on working from reference photos and translating photographic information into expressive watercolor paintings. Students will learn how to analyze reference images, simplify shapes and values, make color decisions, and develop a cohesive composition. Reference photos will be provided, or students may bring their own. Each student will work independently on their own project, with guided instruction, demonstrations, and individualized feedback throughout the session. This class encourages creative growth, confidence, and personal style while strengthening technical skills in watercolor.
