About the Session(s)
- This a special two-session workshop; this means it takes place on March 6th and March 13th, both from 6-8pm.
- The art medium used in the class is traditional.
- You will learn how to paint realistic, lively facial features. Specifically:
- Build faces using simple shapes and proportions
- Create soft skin tones with layered washes
- Paint expressive eyes and facial features
- Use color and values to add depth and personality
- Loosen up your style while keeping likeness
- Prices:
- For Non-Members: $110 - Pay this once for both classes
- For Members: $95 - Pay this once for both classes
What to Bring
- All materials are provided. Each student will work on two watercolor sheets:
- One for practicing techniques you can use in future projects.
- One for your finished portrait painting.
- Feel free to bring your own materials, if you prefer.
