About this Event
In this playful and relaxing workshop, you’ll explore watercolor painting in a whole new way. We’ll begin by painting our own sheets of watercolor paper—experimenting with color and transparency—then cut, layer, and arrange those painted pieces into a unqiue collage.
This process takes the pressure off the painting process because you end up cutting and rearranging your paintings afterwards. Instead we focus on discovery, intuition, color, and creative freedom. Whether your style is bold and abstract or soft and subtle, you’ll be guided step by step as you transform paper and paint into something unique and beautiful.
No artistic experience is required or expected. This workshop is perfect for beginners or anyone looking for a low-stress, joyful way to make art.
All materials are provided, and you’ll leave with your very own finished piece of artwork.
Workshop participants will also recieve 10% off any shop purchases made on the day of the workshop.
This workshop is non-refundable, as we purchase all of our supplies ahead of time. In the event that a workshop needs to be canceled due to weather, instructor illness, or low enrollment, we will notify all registered participants as soon as possible and issue a full refund or credit for another workshop. Thank you for understanding.
