This workshop will focus on how to create a meaningful watercolor skyscape based on photographs and personal reflections. Participants will walk away with a postcard sized watercolor landscape and several sketches used as prep work. Watercolor paint will be used and we will have a demonstration of how to mix colors found in nature, how to layer watercolor in transparent layers to build luminosity, and how to use brush work and mark-making to capture movement, create dimension, and evoke a particular mood.
