This session is designed kids 8 and above to understand the dangers of open water and to learn how to stay safe near any area of water. You will learn what to do in an emergency and understand about cold water shock and how to over come it.?£5 of ticket cost is being donated to the RLSS
This session lasts approximately 1 hours 15 minutes and aims to provide you with information of how to stay safe around water and what to do in an emergency. Any questions you may have can then be answered.
The session involves a water safety talk and then a short activity in the lake wearing clothes.
Parents please bring swim attire too as you may be required to go in the water if I feel your child is not confident to enter by themselves.
If the lakes waiver and my health form are not completed then your child will not be able to take part in the practical part of the session.
NO COMPLETED HEALTH FORM = NO SWIM
