For garden magic, just add water... Our 10th annual water gardening event with the plants, the advice, and the fish is set for May 16th!
Experience how the magic of water can bring fish, plants and gardens together. NHG proudly welcomes back our guests from (NTWGS) for a water-themed morning in the gardens with demos and advice.
OUR SCHEDULE:
9:00am-NHG is open. Browse our selection of water plants, containers, and accessories, and let our staff of Garden Advisors get you started.
Gardening Guidance: Live demos and ongoing Q & A with these experts on our patio:
9-10am- Open Q & A-NHG's Rusty E. Allen is here to help you select and demystify growing water plants.
10-11am- Build A Water Feature. Learn how to bring life and sound to your patio as you watch NTWGS member Lisa Herrick's live demo on how to build your own water feature.
11am-12pm- Potting & Growing Water Plants. Learn how to work with water plants with NHG's Rusty E. Allen. Learn the best ones for the right place, and how to pot up these unusual plants.
11am-1pm- Open Q & A- Visit with expert ponding members from NTWGS. They've got advice on starting your first pond, taking care of fish, or building a water feature.
12-1pm-Open Q & A- Get your water gardening questions answered from NHG's Rusty E. Allen.
And, don’t miss this year’s NTWGS Annual Tour of Ponds–June 13th & 14th. The Pond & Garden Tour Guide with complete maps and all pond location listings will be available for purchase at NHG soon! At $20 each, it's good for a carload of pond and garden tourists. See not only ponds and water features, but gardens too, and be inspired - the tour is a highly recommended way to begin getting your garden wet!
