Isla is an international student barely holding her life together.

Overworked, isolated, and drowning financially, she reluctantly enters the world of live webcam performance after encouragement from her reckless, extroverted best friend, Fay.

What begins as survival soon becomes transformation.

Drawing on her love of anime and cosplay to craft an online persona, Isla discovers confidence, attention, and financial freedom. But the deeper she disappears into the digital persona she creates, the harder it becomes to separate performance from reality.

Set against the blurred lines of internet intimacy, fandom culture, and online commodification, ForeFans is an unsettling, intimate character study about identity, loneliness, and the cost of being seen.
