Wasted Youth were Indie Chart regulars in the early 80s Post Punk scene and toured the UK with The Only Ones, the Psychedelic Furs, Toyah, Classix Nouveau and Modern English to name but a few. Their 1981 album ‘Wild and Wandering’ is widely considered to be an overlooked classic.
Heavily influenced by The Velvet Underground, The Doors and Iggy Pop they forged an exciting sound and explosive live show regularly featuring in the UK and European music press.
Their recent album ‘Neo Noir’ was recorded over several months and released in July of last year. It captures the band in exciting and vibrant form. Contemporary and fresh…but unlike anybody else.
Wasted Youth are playing Exeter Cavern as part of their 2026 tours of the UK and Europe. We can't wait….
