We are really excited to welcome everyone onto the orchard for Wassail 2025Join us at the allotment gates promptly at 2pm on Sunday 26 January 2025 to parade loudly onto our orchard before blessing the boundaries and trees.
Bring drums, shakers and pots and pans to make noise and ward off evil spirits and ensure a good harvest
Please bring some loose change for hot drinks which will be served after the parade.
Please be aware there's no parking on site, do not park near or drive towards the allotment gates on Cranberry way as people will be gathering there, we recommend parking on Pickering road and walking down.
Unfortunately no blue badge parking for Wassail but please get in touch and I can see how close we can get you parked.
Wear waterproof shoes and clothes you don't mind getting muddy, it can get quite damp on site
Site is wheelchair accessible on the main paths but wet weather can mean we can’t guarantee how accessible the orchard area is until the day but if it's not been too wet it is usually reasonably easy to get round.
We have an accessible toilet
Event is free but donations welcome as we rely
on our supporters and volunteers to run the orchard.
Dogs on leads are very welcome but be aware it’s a noisy and busy event so some dogs may not like it.
