Come join the fun at Washington Elementary School where there will be a host of fun things to do for the whole family!Bike Swap 9-10:00: Bring any size bike that your child has outgrown to swap or donate. No bike to bring? Come anyway! Bikes will be available as donations allow.
Bike Safety Stations: 9:30-1:00 Put on by Boise Bicycle Project: From helmets to brakes and flats to chains, let local mechanics teach you and your child how to do safety checks on your bike and keep it in good repair!
Traffic Safety Garden: 9:30-1:00 Put on by Treasure Valley Safe Routes to School: From crosswalks to corners and signs to signals, the traffic garden teaches young riders to be safe on the road and allows them to practice on a fun and challenging skills course!
There will be a live DJ, food trucks and representatives from Valley Regional Transit, Ada County Highway District, and more to share information about programs and projects.
