Come on out and meet two of the data industry's top thoughtleaders - Dan Linstedt and Scott Ambler!
If you've ever wanted an opportunity to rub elbows with industry innovators and inventors, here's your chance!
Dan Linstedt is an American data architect and inventor of the data methodology for data warehouses and business intelligence. Dan and his team at Lockheed Martin developed Data Vault during the 1990s, and introduced the methodology to the industry in 2001. Since that time, Dan innovated on the original embedded modeling approach in 2013 when he introduced Data Vault 2. Data Vault 2 addresses the emergence of MPP environments, like Hadoop, and the unique data and information engineering challenges MPP platforms injected into the industry- including the movement into Cloud Data Platforms. Dan is co-author of the book, "Building A Scalable Data Warehouse with Data Vault 2.0". Dan has spent the last 30 years enabling companies to reduce risk, technical debt, reengineering, and cost in their data analytics delivery while increasing scalability, governance, business value of information, and auditable results through the application of his Data Vault methodology.
Scott Ambler is globally recognized and credited as the primary contributor to a number of frameworks including Agile Modeling, Agile Unified Process, and Disciplined Agile Delivery. He is known as one of the top Agile Strategists worldwide, and has coached hundreds of companies, teams, and individuals in effectively implementing agile approaches within software development and data analytics teams. Scott's Disciplined Agile Delivery method is embedded in the Data Vault 2.0 solution. Most recently, Scott has developed a 1-Day Agile Data Warehousing for Leadership workshop designed to assign corporate leadership in generating significant ROI of their analytic investments by understanding their roles in the agile enablement process.
