Help contribute to a collaborative community art project!� Ages: Families - Parent/Guardian and Child
A WBPL Membership Card is required for registration.
In partnership with the Town of Wasaga Beach, the Library is seeking assistance from residents of all ages living in Wasaga Beach to contribute to a community-driven art project celebrating the unique stories and beauty of Wasaga Beach.
Participants will be guided to paint a themed square tile in watercolour embellished with posca marker. Completed tiles will be scanned to become part of a larger mural, which will depict our Wasaga Beach shoreline and will be displayed along the back wall of the walking track in the new Wasaga Stars Arena. The mural will consist of 1,176 tiles in total, making it a prominent and lasting piece of public art. Since creative workshops can get messy, please dress accordingly.
No experience necessary. Spaces are limited.
If after registering, your ability to keep your reserved spot changes, please provide sufficient notice to the library to be able to offer your spot to someone on our waiting list.
