About this Event
Join volunteer Justin for a welcoming, beginner-friendly chess session that’s fun for teens and adults (young teens to adults). Each week includes a 20–30 minute mini-lesson covering fundamentals and core skills, followed by time to break off into practice games for the remainder of the session.
Beginners are encouraged and all skill levels are welcome. Experienced players are welcome to bring their own chess board and pieces if they wish.
Library membership and registration are requested for each weekly session you plan to attend. Drop-ins are welcome.
