About this Event
We're very excited to announce that our July peer support group will be in collaboration with Warwickshire Pride.
This will be an intersectional event in recognition that a high proportion of neurodivergent people are LGBTQI+ - or neuroqueer.
This event is open to adults (18+) whether you have a diagnosis or not.
What to expect:
We'll agree on some ground rules and boundaries and have some topic suggestions to help start a conversation. There's no pressure to talk or sit still.
This is not a support service and we are not professionals - we are simply a group of people with ADHD, connecting, sharing with and learning from each other, to create a safe space where we can be ourselves.
Arrival information:
There is a free car park and the venue is located at the end of Acre Close (through the height restriction gate).
The automatic door to the Civic Centre is out of order - please open it manually and be aware that it is stiff/heavy - if you need assistance with the door, please contact the event organiser on 07713282487.
The conference room we will be using is on the left inside the civic centre.
Please leave the building quietly out of respect for the neighbours, and as you found it (we will all need to tidy up after ourselves).
Free to attend:
Tickets are free by default, to ensure this event is accessible to all who need it.
Our running costs are £27 a month in total (room hire and insurance) so if you are able to choose a paid ticket instead, to contribute towards these costs, it would help us to continue providing these events long-term.
