Come along to our free Museum Talk in May, for a presentation by Stuart Burroughs of two films, directed by Humphrey Jennings and made by the Crown Film Unit during the Second World War. The first ‘Listen to Britain’ is a survey of the country at war- in 1942 in film and sound and without narration. The second ‘Diary for Timothy’ from 1944 chronicles the last months of the Second War in parallel with a child, Timothy, born at the same time.
