Proclaimed the National orchestra of Poland, the Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra has a rich history of performing with the greatest conductors, composers and soloists of the 20th and 21st century. Their collaborations include Edvard Grieg, Sergei Prokofiev, Sergei Rachmaninoff, Maurice Revel, Camille Saint-Saëns as well as pianists Arthur Rubinstein, Vladimir Horowitz and Claudio Arrau. This will be the second internationally acclaimed orchestra to perform in the acoustically superb Steinmetz Hall.
2021/2022 marks the third year in which Andrzej Boreyko has served as Music and Artistic Director of the Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra. Last season saw Boreyko and the Orchestra perform at the Chopin and his Europe Festival and on an acclaimed tour of Japan. He is now in his seventh season as Music Director of Artis—Naples in Florida.
Bruce Lio has performed with many of the world’s leading orchestras including the Cleveland Orchestra, Israel Philharmonic, Orchestre symphonique de Montréal, Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra and many more. He is the winner of the prestigious 18th International Chopin Piano Competition. Receiving standing ovations for performances in the competition and for performances around the world.
