For June's short work, we have 3 chapters from "Erewhon: or, Over the Range" by Samuel Butler.Specifically, we'll be reading chapters 23, 24 and 25 which constitute the story "the Book of the Machines".
The story concerns a pertinent topic of our times: the potentially dangerous ideas of machine consciousness and self-replicating machines.
