About this Event
Is the weight of your mother's wound affecting your life, and are you ready to begin the journey toward healing? If you are ready to delve deeper, this journal therapy session is for you!
This journaling session invites you to begin an honest conversation with the pain carried from your mother wound. It offers a safe space to confront and explore these wounds and provides an opportunity to begin the process of healing through self-reflection, sharing, and reparenting your inner child.
Our earliest relationships, particularly with our parents, shape the core of how we relate to ourselves, others, and the world around us. When the mother-child bond is fractured, absent, or marked by toxicity, it can leave deep emotional imprints, often creating unconscious beliefs that affect us throughout life. This session aims to explore the patterns and emotional impact of our mother wounds, and how we can begin the process of healing, liberating ourselves, and managing our present relationships with them through journaling.
What to Expect:
- Journaling exercises, and moments of stillness for a deeper connection with your inner child
- Group sharing space for participants to share their thoughts and perspective
What You Will Need:
- A journal or notebook
- A pen
- Comfort items such as a blanket, tissues, and water (optional)
This is a space for vulnerability and open dialogue around the difficult emotions tied to the mother wound. Whether you are new to journaling or experienced, all are welcome. There is no threshold for what qualifies as trauma here—whatever challenges or feelings you carry in relation to your mother are valid.
