Warrington Pride is back on Saturday, June 13th, with a full day of music, performance, and celebration planned across the town centre. 🌈The annual event marks another year of LGBTQ+ visibility in Warrington, with hundreds of people expected to attend. Local charities, businesses, groups, and individuals are all encouraged to get involved by taking part in the parade or simply turning up on the day to show their support.
The parade sets off from Time Square at 12 noon, moving through the town centre before arriving at Golden Square at around 12.30pm.
From there, the celebrations continue until 7pm, with Old Market Gate at Golden Square serving as the main stage. Drew's Dirty Disco will be leading the entertainment, and every performer, act, and DJ taking part has donated their set at no cost. 🎤
There will be more activities and events taking place throughout Warrington town centre, and a full programme with all the details of what to expect will be released soon.
Warrington Pride has confirmed it is working with Cheshire Police to keep the event safe and welcoming for all. ❤️
The event is backed by a wide group of local organisations and businesses, including Warrington BID, Culture Warrington, Warrington Borough Council, LiveWire, the University of Chester, Warrington Market, Golden Square, Youth Zone, Time Square, United Utilities, and the Land Trust.
