About this Event

Warm Welcome: Hands-on Art and Artefacts at Rugby Library

Warm Welcome is a friendly, drop‑in session that offers a safe, comfortable space for people to relax, connect, and access support with free refreshments. Dive into the past by handling genuine museum objects and explore your creative side with engaging craft activities inspired by historical artifacts. These sessions bring history to life while inspiring creativity.


These sessions are great for:

  • Exploring the past through hands-on handling of real museum objects
  • Creating with inspiring, history‑fuelled craft activities
  • Relaxing in a warm, calm and welcoming space
  • Connecting with others in the community
  • Enjoying free refreshments in a friendly atmosphere
  • Discovering what our libraries offer



Time: 3:15pm - 5:15pm

Date: Held fortnightly on Tuesdays until 23rd June 2026.

Age: All ages (Please note: children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult at all times)

Booking: This is a drop-in event, so booking is not required. If you do choose to book a ticket, please be aware that it does not guarantee you a space. Participation will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

Refreshments: Free refreshments available
