Players can select a Spearhead found in the following:
- Warhammer: Age of Sigmar Spearhead - Fire & Jade
- Warhammer: Age of Sigmar Spearhead - Sand & Bone
- White Dwarf Magazine
- Official Warhammer Community Online Material
Armies must exactly match the composition found in the aforementioned material for the selected Spearhead.
Models are expected to be fairly WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get). Conversions are allowed though, so if you have a cool conversion make sure you let us know, though to be sure not to model for advantage and ensure no more than 30% of your model is made of non-genuine Games Workshop parts.
Models are to be firmly affixed to either the bases provided in the model’s kit OR a base of the same size and shape of the base provided in the kit. Blu-tacked bases and square bases are not acceptable.
Your Spearhead does not need to be painted but it MUST be fully-assembled with each unit clearly distinguished and identafiable. Spearheads that are painted to a Battle-Ready Standard (three colour minimum) receive an additional 5 Victory Points at the end of each game.
TOURNAMENT BATTLEPACK & CLARIFITCATIONS
All tournaments will use the Sand & Bone Battleplan within the Warhammer: Age of Sigmar Spearhead - Sand & Bone book, with the following modification to the PRE-BATTLE SEQUENCE.
3. The Tournament Organiser chooses which side of the realm battlefield the players will fight on: Dolorum (the green side) or Ossia (the purple side).
This means all tournament participants will be playing on the same realm battlefield during the same round of the tournament.
All other sequences are UNCHANGED.
Spearhead Battles are played using the relevant Spearhead Gaming Set that matches the Tournament Battlepack. These will be provided by Vault Games.
Please ensure you are measuring to and from a model’s base.
Objectives are outlined on the Spearhead Battlefield Map. Models wholly or partially on an objective’s artwork are considered contesting the objective.
Faction Terrain is not used in Spearhead Battles.
