Warlords of the 41st Millenium, the time for conquest is nigh! Odyssey Games is proud to present another grim dark fight for the far future with a Warhammer 40k Matched Play Tournament! This event celebrates our wonderful wargaming community and is open for players of all experience and playstyles. Come one and all and join the fun!Warhammer League adds additional League Point tracking to better reward our players! For every event, players can earn additional points towards fun rewards and even a Championship title. These points will have no effect on the tournament itself, only on rewards at the end of the year.
Players will earn League points as follows:
* 2 Points for First Place
* 1 Point for Top 4 (Does not stack with First Place)
* 1 Point for a Battle Ready army
* 1 Point for Best Painted Army (Voted by your peers!)
* 1 Point for Participation

— SCHEDULE
• Doors Open - 11:00am
• Round 1 - 12:00pm
• Round 2 - 2:45pm
Hobby Voting/Meal Break - 5:15
Round 3 - 6:00pm
— EVENT STRUCTURE
• 3 Round ‘Swiss Pairing’
• 2.5 Hour round timer
*20 minute warning indicates the current round will finish and players will not begin another.
• Games will be played at the 2,000 point marker. Current matched play rules will be utilized, including all recent FAQs, Balance updates, and latest War Zone/General’s Handbook releases.
*All codexes, expansion books, and additional rules released within 2 weeks of the tournament are NOT legal for this event. This includes any FAQs and balance updates if they are published within 2 weeks of the event.
— PLAYER REQUIREMENTS & EXPECTATIONS
*You do NOT need painted miniatures. In-game Points for painted miniatures will not be used.
-Players must bring:
• All rules (digital or physical) for your army.
• Tools and Accessories to play your army.
• Fully Assembled models that clearly represent your army. Up to 50% of your relative army’s models must be constructed from Games Workshop products.
• A legal army roster of 2,000 points from the current Matched Play ruleset. Make sure to double check your points for updates prior to the event.
-The TO will provide:
• Tables and Terrain setup for matches.
• Clear and visible round timer.
• Objective markers corresponding to primary missions.
• The Primary missions and related deployment zones/special mission rules will be predetermined and announced at the beginning of each round.
— PRIZING
• Store Credit is awarded by final standing as follows:
1st Place - 50%
2nd Place - 30%
3rd and 4th Place - 10% each
*Percentages based on the total entry “pot”
• $5.00 Store Credit awarded for playing a “Battle Ready” (fully painted) army
