Join the Connecting Chords Music Festival at the downtown Kalamazoo Public Library for an exploration of meditative sounds and melodies with violinist Josh Holcomb.
Josh improvises on the 5-string violin to create pleasing textures and sonic landscapes. He uses effect pedals to spontaneously create multi-layered pieces transforming the acoustic violin sound into an endless variety of meditative tones. He currently teaches violin, viola, ukulele and mandolin at the Suzuki Academy of Kalamazoo.
Admission is free, donations will be accepted on-site.
