Greetings everyone!We are happy to announce our first Warhammer 40,000 Grand Tournament of this year. This will be a two day event stretching over March 28th and 29th with 3 rounds happening the 1st day and 2 rounds happening on the second day. This will also count as a qualifying event for our Invitational Series. Players will have 3 hours to complete their game.
Fully painted armies will not be required for the event but models must be fully assembled and any proxies approved.
Entry is $69.99 with up to 32 spots available.
The missions and schedule for the day will be as follows:
DAY ONE
Rd1 Mission A, Layout 1 8:00 am -11:30 am
Lunch 11:30-12:30
Rd2 Mission I, Layout 1 12:45 pm-3:45 pm
Rd3 Mission P, Layout 1 4:00 pm-7:00 pm
DAY TWO
Rd 4 Mission J, Layout 6 9:00 am-12:30 pm
Lunch 12:30 pm- 1:15 pm
Rd 5 Mission M, Layout 6 1:30 pm-4:30 pm
Prizing for this event will be a mix of trophies (awarded to the top three players & Best Painted) and store credit prizes (awarded to each player at the top of their bracket).

Store Credit:
Player at the top of 5-0 bracket
Player at the top of 4-1 bracket
Player at the top of 3-2 bracket
Player at the top of 2-3 bracket
Player at the top of 1-4 bracket
Lists for this event will be due March 22nd by 11pm. Any list being submitted after that time will receive a 4 point penalty to their first round game.

When players are assigned their table, they will be given 10 minutes to:
-Discuss their army with their opponent.
-Set up objectives, discuss terrain and discuss use of a clock (see below).
Players will NOT start setting up their armies until the organiser says that the round has started.
Chess clocks will be used if requested by either player. The 3 hour round will be divided by two, so that each player has 1 hour and 30 minutes to set up their army and play the game. Players will start their clock when told to do so by the organiser. When a player runs out of time, they can no longer perform any actions within the game other than Armour or Ward Saves.
