Hi everyoneThe third points event of the 2026 W.A.R. Driver Championship/"Pom" Jones Trophy are the 2026 F1 Championships to be held on Saturday 28 February 2026 from 3pm.
There will be 4 classes of racing:
Class 1 – 132 Tasman GP Gold Star Championship - 4 x 3 minute heats on the FPRtrack
Class 2 – 132 Classic Grand Prix class - 4 x 3 minute heats on the FPR track
Class 3 – 132 Modern F1 class - 6 x 5 minute heats on the Brabham track
Class 4 – 124 Classic GP class - 6 x 5 minute heats on the Brabham track
There is a $15 entry fee per class up to a maximum entry fee of $25
The winner of each class of the 2026 F1 Championships will be awarded 50 points towards the 2026 W.A.R. Driver Championship/"Pom" Jones Trophy.
Contact W.A.R. for the class rules and the conduct rules.
Plaques and certificates will be awarded to the drivers finishing first, second and third, as well as to the driver who wins the Race Director's Award.
Spectators are most welcome to attend as well.

10AM – 2.45PM PRACTICE & SCRUTINEERING FOR ALL CLASSES
2.45PM SCRUTINEERING ENDS
3PM – 4PM RACING FOR TASMAN GP GOLD STAR CHAMPIONSHIP
4PM – 5PM RACING FOR THE 132 CLASSIC GP CLASS
BREAK
5.30PM – 7PM RACING FOR THE 132 MODERN F1 CLASS
7PM – 8PM RACING FOR THE 124 CLASSIC GP CLASS
There are also three practice sessions scheduled before the F1 Championships:
Wednesday 25 February 2pm - 9pm
Thursday 26 February 2pm - 9pm
Friday 27 February 2pm - 9pm
There is a $15 entry fee for attending practice sessions, but that one entry fee covers your attendance to ALL the practice sessions.
It should be a great day of F1 racing.
