About this Event
Join us for a forum dedicated to empowering youth leadership and engagement. Young leaders will share their experiences and ideas for driving positive change in their communities. The event will address the legacies of the Indochina wars, fostering discussions on the impacts of war and exploring paths to healing. Through regional collaboration, participants will build partnerships and develop projects to tackle regional challenges, working together towards a prosperous and peaceful world.
This event is hosted by Columbia University's Weatherhead East Asian Institute, Legacies of War, US-ASEAN Young Professionals Association, U.S. Institute of Peace (as part of their Dialogue on War Legacies and Peace in Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia), and Vietnam Society (as part of their 2024 Vietnam Week).
Participants in the youth forum should be 18 to 30 years of age. Those over 30 who attend the Dialogue on War Legacies and Peace are invited to participate as observers, space permitting.
There is an option to participate via Zoom for those who cannot attend in-person. Please select the "Online Partipant" option at check-out. The Zoom link will be emailed out prior to the event.
