Come roll with us during our free skating training and let us introduce you to roller derby!This training is non-contact and focuses on basic skating skills, like skating posture, stops, falling, balance, agility, turns, jumps, and many more!

We strongly believe roller derby is for everyone; no matter your level of fitness, gender, background or bodytype, you are welcome! Our only requirement is that you are at least 18 years before you start skating with us.

16:00 β Basic skating training - part 1
18:00 β Optional: Watch ThunderDoms vs. Brussels La Flotte (coffee/thee/snack provided)
April 9 (Wednesday)β
19:00 β Basic skating training - part 2
21:00 β Optional: Watch or assist with scrimmage

In order to play roller derby the following gear is required:
- Quad skates
- Helmet (with certification)
- Wrist protection
- Knee protection
- Elbow protection
- Mouth guard
Need to borrow stuff? We have some gear available for our rookiesβ first few trainings, so you donβt need to commit to buying skates or protection before you try the sport. Please come early if you need to borrow gear and/or skates. We do not lend out mouth guards.
