In honor of 250 years of stories in history, we’re celebrating the wild beauty and outdoor stories of the City of Manassas.
From split-rail fences and golden fields…
To pollinators, trails, historic buildings, items, rail lines, creeks, barns, and historic landscapes…
Request outdoor wildlife in natural habitats and history photos with no domestic animals or pet shots.
We want to see your lens as you Wander Manassas.
This special 250 edition invites photographers of all ages 12 and up to capture the intersection of:
• Nature
• Outdoor heritage
• Historic landscapes
• Wildlife & pollinators
• The living story of Manassas including consented people in nature and history.
Submitted images will be featured at The Great Manassas Campout and Manassas Bee Festival, Celebrate America! and in future promotional materials.
Whether you shoot with a DSLR or a phone — if it’s outdoors and tells a story of nature and history, it belongs here.
Submission deadline: June 20, 2026 11:59pm. Winners announced July 4, 2026.
