Formed by Tristan Thomas (aka Zaspéro / Ovhal44) and Tino Gelli (Polycool), Walter Astral merges two seemingly distant musical worlds into one cosmic fusion of acid basslines, drum machines, vintage guitar textures, and a centuries-old banjo that plays quarter tones like a saz.
Their sound balances somewhere between psychedelic pop and techno, drawing inspiration from King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard, Flavien Berger, Altin Gün, and Charanjit Singh.
