Join us for a CIOB site visit of the Airton Road Tallaght Project kindly facilitated by Walls Construction Ireland.
The project involves the construction of 510 one two and three bedroom apartments across 6 block varying in height from 6 to 8 stories. The site also includes the construction of a basement and an undercroft carpark along with associated hard, soft landscape and street scape works.
The frame is a mixture of Reinforced Concrete and Prefinished Precast Concrete Elements. The facades are a mixtures of stone brick and insulated render.
The roofs are a mixture of paved terraces and green roofs. The site is located at the junction of Greenhills Rd and Airton Rd on the formers Gallaghers Cigarette factory site.
Construction works started September 23 with a completion date in February 26.
