Walking Tour of Barking Landmarks | Activation Station

Starting and Finishing at Barking Station, we will visit the town centre highlights. The tour will focus on why the station is becoming increasingly important to Barking, how and why it is an important gateway to the town and its central role in creating connections with local landmarks. We’ll be exploring the old and new Barking, the changes coming to the area, and the importance of access and proximity to this transport hub. 

The walk will take 2 hrs including time for free refreshments!


The walk is part of Activation Station, a project that aims to explore perceptions of safety outside Barking Station. By listening to residents, businesses and people who use the station, the project aims to understand perceptions of safety in and around the Station and pilot creative ideas to make the area feel safer!

The walk will be joint delivered by Street Space, LBBD and Be First.
