Join me to celebrate a time of inns and brewing. Come see traces of the hospitality offered by the inns of Borough High Street. Learn how central the hop trade was locally. And of course find a variety of pubs for your delectation - after the tour!
This tour takes in the story of one of London’s largest breweries, and of how its draymen treated an unpopular Austrian. We visit the site of a violent death caused by a very dangerous umbrella.
Above all, join me to celebrate the many links between the Borough and booze!
