About this Event
A Special Event in Historic Bethlehem, PA
Join PBS39 for an unforgettable day in the heart of Bethlehem's UNESCO World Heritage Site as we journey through the revolutionary past from a rarely told perspective—that of the women whose courage, labor, and resilience helped forge America.
Begin your experience with a guided walking tour presented by Historic Bethlehem Museums and Sites, exploring how Moravian women sustained their communities, advanced education, and influenced the revolutionary cause in profound and often overlooked ways.
Following the tour, gather for a gourmet luncheon at the historic Hotel Bethlehem, one of the region’s most iconic landmarks surrounded by timeless elegance.
Guests will enjoy an exclusive pre-premiere screening from the upcoming documentary film, THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION by award-winning filmmakers Ken Burns, Sarah Botstein, and David Schmidt. This powerful new work reexamines the Revolution through fresh lenses—including the pivotal, yet often hidden, contributions of women.
The day culminates in a dynamic discussion featuring prominent scholar and historian:
- Dr. Katherine Faull, Founding Executive Director, Institute for Moravian History and World Heritage, Moravian University
Space is limited. Reserve your place now and be part of the story.
