About this Event
Grief doesn't follow a timeline.
Some days you're managing. Other days, it feels like the loss just happened. You may be holding it together at work, for your family, for your children, but inside, things feel heavier than you expected.
Walking Through Grief is a four-week therapist-led group for adults grieving the death of someone significant in their life.
What this group is:
A small, therapist-led space where you can be honest about grief without having to perform or pretend. Each week has structure, but the real work happens in the room... between people who get it without needing you to explain.
- When: Thursdays, April 16 – May 7, 2026 | 6:30 – 8:00 PM
- Where: 475 Park Street, Kitchener, ON (in-person only)
- Facilitator: Sara Brooks, Registered Psychotherapist (RP)
- Group size: 10 participants maximum
- Cost: $75 per week ($300 total), receipts provided for insurance
Your first step is free.
Every participant starts with a brief, no-pressure phone conversation with Sara. It takes about 15 minutes. She'll answer your questions, learn a bit about what you're going through, and make sure this group is the right fit for you.
This isn't a sales call. It's a real conversation and it's how we keep this space safe for everyone in it.
After registering, you'll receive a link to choose a time that works for you.
About the facilitator
Sara Brooks is a Registered Psychotherapist at Exhale Therapy with specialized experience in grief, loss, and life transitions. She created this group because she saw how many of her clients felt alone in their grief... not because they lacked people who cared, but because grief can be hard to talk about in everyday life.
