As part of our Inquiring Minds series, the Adult Programs Committee invites you to an evening of learning and reflection with Sandra Bender and the National Centre for Truth and Reconciliation.
This presentation will explore:
- The history of Canadaโs residential school system
- Legal and social responses to the harm caused
- The ongoing intergenerational and systemic impacts
- How communities can respond with understanding, healing, and meaningful action
Sandra Bender is a lifelong human rights advocate who brings her passion for public education and reconciliation work to this important conversation.
