Walking into History - A series of archaeology and history walks with Alex Vincent across Sussex. Jul 6th: Cissbury. Neolithic flint mines and Iron Age hillfort.
This year marks 40 years since 1986 when Alex went on Con Ainsworth's walks and 30 years since 1996 when Alex started running his own series of walks. 11th March 1996 is also the 40th anniversary of Alex becoming a member of Worthing Archaeological Society!

We meet temporarily this year at the Waitrose Car Park in the High Street, Worthing on Monday evenings at 6:45 for 7 pm. Route maps will be given on the day. A fee of £2-3 for petrol money to drivers is recommended. Please wear comfortable clothing and footwear suitable for the weather.
After the walks, we go to a pub for refreshments.
Walks may be postponed, altered or cancelled.
