In lieu of our normal meetups, let's get together to listen to audiobooks, podcasts, music, or whatever you'd like together in a group setting while getting some exercise. We'll park at Parkway then walk at a comfortable pace on the Hanging Rock Battlefield trail. We'll walk ~3 miles (however, you can turn around at any point for less distance) so please come prepared with comfortable shoes, sunblock, water, or anything you may need in a backpack. This is a flat trail which is oftentimes shaded. We'll then double back to Parkway to get some drinks/lunch.New this year! The new Parkway Bazaar - Monthly Market for Local Makers begins at 1pm so stick around to shop local and take home something unique.
Informal itinerary:
11:00-11:30am Arrive at Parkway Brewing to park, introductions, group photo (usually of our shoes or headphones!)
11:30-12:30pm Walk in companionable silence while listening to our chosen media and double back to Parkway
12:30-?? Have a drink and order from the food truck, casual chatting, Parkway Bazaar (information above!).
