About this Event

MoSaF is a community group and charity established in 2019 to draw attention to the debt the UK owes to those whose lives were cut short, or forever ruined, by the transatlantic trade in enslaved humans. MoSaF Deptford honours their legacy by remembering them on a two hour walk tour through our streets, past our public buildings, through our parks and dockyards beside the River Thames in London. London's position as the country’s first ever slaving port is little recognised. Alongside the grandure of its palaces and squares, or the prosperity of its financial institutions, there runs another story - one which deserves to be heard.
