Who's up for a working walk at the Bridle Zone on Saturday 6 July at 2pm? We'd love a hand. There's serious softwood overhang after all that lovely track clearing done in April and it's a shame we cant 'ride wide' til its cut back. It should be quite quick enjoyable work. Think of it as your exercise for the day when I bet you won't be riding your horse!
We need 4 teams of 3 to 4 people. Don't be afraid of offering thinking there's lots of others. We can assure you there wont be!
People with no tools - feel welcome. Just bring gloves and throw the cuttings back into the bush. People with hedge trimmers, loppers and leaf rakes, come right along - you're the trail blazers.
Its gonna be so satisfying when it's all cut back and the track clearing job is finito! Please respond on here if you think you can make it. Here's hoping - bring coats coz it might be wettish work.
