Welcome to Call of the Woods! We organise weekly walks for exchange students, foreign students and expats. We've prepared a real challenge for you: to walk from Brno to the Babylon view tower near Bedřichov, which is 35 km from Brno. This walk will push your limits, yet we will walk at our normal speed and take enough rests, so we are sure you can do it. 🙂
We will leave early (at 7:05 am) from the tram stop Technology Park, when tram 12 arrives. As always, the route goes across the hills and through the fields and forests. At the halfway point we will have a break at a restaurant. The view tower at the end is situated on a hill, and has a bistro and terrace next to it. On a clear day, you can see the border with Poland (80 km away) from the view tower!
We will go back to Brno by bus 257 from Bedřichov at 17:37 and then bus 301 from Lysice (6 zones outside of 100/101, or 8 zones in total) and arrive in Brno around 19:00.
