Get ready for an afternoon of genre-defying sounds and inventive grooves as Walker Lukens & Disko Cowboy takeover The Courtyard at Hotel Lucine.

Hailing from Austin, TX, Lukens is known for his "curious, textured music" (NPR) and "wonderfully inventive" songwriting (World Cafe). Blending the personal and the political with a sound all his own, his work has been called “rhythmic sound effect mastery” that’s impossible to pin down.

He is joined by Disko Cowboy, the brainchild of Dave Wrangler and his iconic Vinyl Ranch DJ Parties. His music & events set the pulse for contemporary urban cowboy culture with an unexpected mashup of classic country, disco, & EDM.

Doors at 1:00 PM, all ages welcome!

With the show wrapping by 5 PM, it’s the ideal prelude to a night Downtown celebrating Mardi Gras.
